Classic Motorcycle Investments – Part 4 – Future Classic Crighton CR700W. Alan Green talks to The Motorcycle Broker Paul Jayson

This is the fourth of a series of interviews with Paul Jayson, The Motorcycle Broker where we look at classic motorcycle investments. In terms of automotive investing classic bikes make an awful lot of sense – they are relatively easy to work on, take up very little space and like classic cars and other vehicles, they can offer significant, and sometimes spectacular, tax free investment returns.

Each week we will be looking at some of the most iconic and best performing classic motorcycles of the past 20 years. In our fourth interview we take a look at a future classic, the amazing rotary engined Crighton CR700W. We look at the history of Brian Crighton’s famous rotary Wankel engines that powered the JPS Norton race bikes of the 1980s and 1990s, including Steve Hislop’s 1992 win on a privately entered Norton rotary, before taking a close look at the amazing limited edition 220bhp CR700W race bike that weighs just 129.5kg.

This is the third of a series of interviews with Paul Jayson, The Motorcycle Broker where we look at classic motorcycle investments. In our third interview we look at the famous Italian marque Laverda, and discuss the legendary Jota 1000 and the rare and exclusive SFC750.
