LocoSoco group Plc #LOCO – Exclusive new UK partnership agreement with Cleanstrike LLC, Purus Air Disinfection Systems
LocoSoco Group Plc, the company that builds technology to profit from creating sustainable communities and is listed on the Direct Market segment of the Vienna MTF, is pleased to announce an exclusive new UK partnership agreement with Cleanstrike LLC and their Purus Air Disinfection Systems.
LocoSoco Group Plc (LOCO) is listed on the Direct Market segment of the Vienna MTF. For quotes and trading data, link here: https://www.wienerborse.at/en/market-data/shares-others/quote-direct/?ISIN=GB00BD5BTL23&ID_NOTATION=246035708
Cleanstrike LLC, Purus Systems Distribution Agreement
LocoSoco have agreed an exclusive UK distribution partnership with Cleanstrike LLC and their Purus technologies. The PURUS Air disinfection system produces and dispenses a dry fog of the natural oxidant hypochlorous acid (HOCl) to kill pathogens wherever they spread or linger in an enclosed environment.
This process stops unseen pathogens from spreading and infecting healthcare spaces, workplace settings and other indoor environments by treating the air and every surface, no matter how obscure or hidden.
As a result of the rapid growth in national distribution and sales of hand sanitiser products and refill stations, LocoSoco will ‘plug’ Purus into its national distribution network to leverage up air disinfection system sales.
The Purus model will work for LocoSoco in 2 ways. 1) Provides a service to customers in need of sanitisation services. 2) Selling the devices and liquids to our partners who can in turn provide these services to their communities to generate revenue.
Purus Air disinfection systems are already used by major international brands across the USA, including numerous Las Vegas venues, Marriott Hotel Group and New York City Transport.
More details of the PURUS Air disinfection systems can be found here: https://locoso.co/purus-air-fog/
LocoSoco CEO James Perry commented: “We are hugely excited by the opportunity to exclusively distribute Purus systems using our network. I have said previously that LocoSoco remains focussed on building strategic partnerships and alliances that secure supply and allow us to scale up and meet the demand from our communities. The Purus agreement is a classic case in point. Our network and sales continue to grow, and I look forward to providing you with further updates.”

Resilience, innovation and compassion – the independent retail response to Covid-19 – BetterRetailing.com
Resilience, innovation and compassion – the independent retail response to Covid-19
By Nick Brown, Head of Sustainability at Coca-Cola European Partners
Whilst we’re all living through unprecedented times, it has been warming to read about some of the positives that have started appearing in the national news over the past couple of weeks, pulling out the human stories that give us hope.
The simple fact is that crises can bring out the best in people – and this is particularly true within the independent retail community.
I’ve been inspired and humbled by how resourceful, compassionate and resilient independent retailers have been during the coronavirus outbreak – but that’s not to say for one moment that I’ve been surprised.
Independent retailers have always played an invaluable role as community hubs – now, even more so than ever before.
With this in mind, we wanted to give the independent retail community a good news roundup of its own, as a reminder that even though times are hard, there’s so much good work to be proud of.
Supporting those in need
Dan Brown, of Pinkie Farm in Musselburgh has put together ‘essentials kits’ for vulnerable customers, complete with milk, eggs, bacon, fruit and veg, confectionery and more. Staff are delivering them for free.
Working with suppliers in new ways
Harjit Singh of Nisa Local in High Heath is among 200 retailers to partner with hand sanitiser distributor LocoSoco, to make much-needed hygiene products accessible and affordable in the community. LocoSoco has distributed close to 20 tonnes of hand sanitiser to UK retailers since the outbreak began.
Harjit’s store has also donated £10,000 to its neighbouring ‘High Heath Hub’ community platform, which is available to fund PPE for local NHS services – and he is introducing his PPE suppliers to NHS organisations, giving them access to vital safety equipment at cost price.
Innovating to ‘socially distance’
Stephen Jempson of Jempsons in Peasmarsh has developed and implemented a successful home delivery system across a 20-mile radius. He also has a click and collect operation to help maintain social distancing in-store.

LocoSoco Group #LOCO – Trading Update and Warehouse Facility
LocoSoco Group Plc, the Wiener Borse DM traded company that builds technology to profit from creating sustainable communities, is pleased to provide a trading update.
Highlights:
- GBP150,000 revenue in March 2020 from sales of hand sanitiser and refill stations.
- LocoSoco has temporarily secured a warehouse in Essex, sited adjacent to the M25. The warehouse premises has a 4,000 square metre capacity, and has already been adapted by LocoSoco as a click and collect distribution pointfor retailers and regional distributors. Subject to negotiation, it is the company’s intention to secure this warehouse, or a similar premises a permanent distribution / collection hub for LocoSoco.
- With 250 outlets across the UK, LocoSoco continue to develop relationships and expand existing networks with a range of leading local brands.
- LocoSoco shares for shelfspace offering is rapidly gaining in popularity, i.e. shelfspace in exchange for with equity in stores across the country (10cm here, 10cm over there, a hook to display here, a screen to promote there etc). We anticipate up to 10km of shelfspace will be sold this year.
- Accelerated rollout of local community ‘enablers’, i.e. MyEco.Site, Eco Refill stations and MyDistro.Co
The surge in activity and volume has created an urgent need for a new distribution hub and warehouse. As such we have temporarily secured a warehouse in Essex, sited adjacent to the M25. The warehouse premises has a 4,000 square metre capacity, and has already been adapted by LocoSoco as a click and collect distribution point for retailers and regional distributors. We also intend to offer storage for supplies for/ from businesses that are unable to trade through the COVID-19 pandemic. Subject to negotiation, it is the company’s intention to secure this warehouse, or a similar premises a permanent distribution / collection hub for LocoSoco.
The LocoSoco shares for shelfspace concept has also become very popular with our retailer network. Quite simply, we gain shelfspace in exchange for LocoSoco equity in stores across the country (10cm here, 10cm over there, a hook to display here, a screen to promote there etc). We anticipate up to 10km of shelfspace will be sold this year, and this in turn creates a unique opportunity to bring challenger brands to market.
LocoSoco CEO James Perry commented: “This unprecedented surge in activity and volume has resulted in our team working around the clock to distribute supplies to 250+ outlets across the UK. Our sales have grown rapidly as a result of this, with GBP150,000 of sales in March alone. I would like to put on record my heartfelt thanks to our people who have worked night and day to make this happen.
We have worked to ensure our team comply with safe working practice, including social distancing and self isolation. Thankfully, no LocoSoco employees have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
I look forward to updating you on further progress in the coming weeks and months. Don’t forget to check in to the LocoSoco website (www.locoso.co) for the latest news and developments.
Please stay safe in the current pandemic crisis!”
