All Things Considered Group (ATC) is a music artist management and services provider that branched out into live streaming events due to Covid-19. There was £4.13m raised at 153p a share, and the share price rose to 155p, valuing the company at £15m. In the six months to June 2021, revenues jumped from a sharply reduced figure of £1.39m to £5.04m, including £3.31m from live streamed events. ATC is loss making. The cash and valuation of the stake in livestreaming company Driift appear to provide an underpinning for the valuation, but there is a significant amount of accruals relating to unpaid performing rights fees on live streaming.

ChallengerX (CXS) was used as a holding company to acquire SportsX prior to joining the Access segment of Aquis. The core business is providing marketing services to rugby and football clubs. Smaller clubs need ways of generating additional income, so the services should be attractive to them. ChallengerX will earn income through revenue sharing agreements and by retaining a 10% to 30% reserve position in any club’s social tokens, that it will help the clubs to issue. ChallengerX raised £752,000 at 2p a share. The bid/offer spread at the end of the first day was 2p/3p and the mid-price was still 2.5p on Christmas Eve.

Fellow Aquis company Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) had invested £216,000 in SportsX in May, which was its first investment after flotation, and then swapped this stake for shares in ChallengerX that were worth £1.25m at the subscription price.

Good Energy (GOOD) says that November trading was in line with expectations. Domestic price tariffs were raised at the beginning of November, and this offset the lack of win generation during the month. Power prices continue to rise, though, and wind generation remains low, which means that 2021 profit will be £3m lower than expectations. Good Energy requires more cash for working capital because of the higher prices.

Rutherford Health (RUTH) intends to leave Aquis. A general meeting will be held on 11 January and if the shareholders are in agreement, then the company will cancel the quotation on 25 January. Rutherford Health has found it difficult to raise additional cash and does not want the distraction of being quoted.

CBD products supplier Voyager Life (VOY) has acquired Cannafull, a manufacturer of CBD skincare products, including under its own Ascend Skincare brand. Voyager Life paid the liquidator of the company £9,000 for the brands and assets.

Hydro Hotel Eastbourne (HYDP) is paying a 20p a share dividend to shareholders on the register on 31 December.

Tectonic Gold (TTAU) had £542,000 in the bank at the end of June 2021, although there are also borrowings of £322,000. The operating cash outflow was £210,000 with a further £401,000 spent on exploration during the year. The subsequent sale of Kazera Global shares raised more cash. A $275,000 tax refund relating to the Specimen Hill gold project is due to be received.

IamFire (FIRE) is subscribing £2m for WeShop Holdings Ltd convertibles and has the option to invest a further £2.5m. The conversion price is 75p a share and the shares trade on JP Jenkins. The social media retail platform will be fully launched in the first quarter of 2022.

Lombard Capital (LCAP) has sold its property in Preston for £2.075m. The total cost of the property was nearer £3m.

Love Hemp Group (LIFE) has allotted 65 million shares at 1.5p each in final deferred consideration for Love Hemp Ltd. Chief executive Tony Calamita has an 8.87% stake. A Love Hemp virtual store has been set up with Deliveroo.

Trading in Igraine (KING) shares recommence after its full year and interim figures were published. This period pre-dates the move into medical technology investment.

AIM

CT Automotive (CTA) is a supplier of interior components to the automotive sector and it already has a strong relationship with Nissan. The top three customers account for two-thirds of revenues. CT Automotive raised £33.6m at 147p a share and this will go towards reducing debt. The shares ended the week at 160p. Electronic component shortages have hit the second half of 2021, after a strong first half’s trading. Trading will be disrupted well into 2022.

Libertine Holdings (LIB) raised £9m at 20p a share to finance the opportunity to become an important part of the move towards vehicles being able to use cleaner fuels via its own powertrain technology can extend the range of battery-powered electric trucks. Large commercial vehicles are the main market, but there are other uses for the technology. The cash will be used to take on more commercial and development people, as fund further development of technology and facilities. The share price jumped to 37.5p by the end of the week.

York-based Aptamer Group provides contract research services with longer-term potential for royalties and licence revenues when the client uses the reagents in commercial applications. Three-quarters of the top 20 global pharma companies are clients. Raising £10.8m at 117p enables it to scale up its operations. In the 15 months to June 2021, Aptamer Group revenues were £1.6m and the loss was £2.91m. The share price ended the week at 136p.

Surveying and Corridor.ai analysis platform operator Cordel (CRDL) has won a 6.5 year contract with Network Rail that starts at the beginning of 2022. This is worth £500,000 a year and covers storing and processing of gauge and clearance information for the whole network.

Delivered ready meals company Parsley Box (LSE: MEAL) says that trading improved at the end of the year and supply problems are easing. Net cash is £2.2m, but significant cash outflows mean more money is required, possibly as much as £6m. A large discount to the market price may be required to raise that much.

Deepmatter Group (DMTR) managed to secure £2.55m of funding ahead of the Christmas break. It was at a heavily discounted 0.1p a share. Existing shareholders are being given the chance to invest at the same price via a one-for-3.7 open offer that could raise up to £250,000. The digital chemistry data company is still in discussions with South Korea-based drug discovery company Standigm Inc, but the deal will not be done this year, so 2021 revenues will be lower than the company’s previous expectations.

Anglo Asian Mining (AAZ) has taken a 19.9% stake in TSX Venture Exchange Libero Copper and Gold Corporation for $4.9m. This is the first step in the diversification outside of Azerbaijan. Libero has the option to acquire copper exploration properties in Colombia, Argentina and Canada.

Redx Pharma (REDX) will receive a $9m milestone payment following the start of a phase 1 trial of AZD5055, a porcupine inhibitor targeting fibrotic diseases. There are up to $360m of additional payments depending on successful development.

Primorus Investments (PRIM) says that investee company Alteration Earth will not be joining the standard list until 2022. The prospectus has been submitted for a second reading by the UKLA. Primorus invested £350,000 for five million shares in the shell. Primorus is electing to take Bushveld Minerals (BMN) shares in return for its Mustang Energy loan notes, because of ongoing litigation.

Lekoil Ltd (LEK) has formally rejected the 1.9p a share bid from Lekoil Nigeria. It points out that the offer does not take account of the potential cancelation of $350m of intercompany debt.

MAIN MARKET

Great Southern Copper (GSCU) has options over potential copper gold projects in northern Chile and news of a new left wing president in Chile hit the early trading in the shares on the standard list. Great Southern Copper raised £3.52m at 5p a share and ended the first day at 4.55p before recovering to 4.9p at the end of the week. The assets under option are the San Lorenzo copper gold project northeast of coastal town La Serena in northern Chile and the Especularita copper gold project, which is south of the other project. Initial exploration should help the company to understand the prospects in the two areas before spending a more significant amount of money.

House broker finncap still expects personal care products supplier Innovaderma (IDP) to make a small profit on the back of a recovery in revenues in the year to June 2022. Cash should be maintained at £2.3m.

Cash shell Hawkwing (HNG) wanted share trading to recommence after the proposed acquisition of ecommerce aggregator Internet Fusion Group. The FCA says that the £13.7m loan to Internet Fusion Group is a transaction under the definition of a reverse takeover so trading cannot recommence. Hawkwing is trying to unwind the loan.

AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Hydrogen Future Industries (HFI) was set up to make investments in the hydrogen sector. It raised £2.23m at 10p a share. This will finance the investigation of investment opportunities.

Field Systems Design Holdings (FSD) reported a lump in revenues from £19.8m to £9.98m in the year to May 2021, due to Covid-related problems. This meant that the mechanical and electrical design company moved into loss. The AMP7 water sector investment programme did not start as expected. Other projects have also been delayed, but power generation and transport infrastructure business held up better than the water business, which continues to be delayed. Field Systems Design is also being more selective about energy from waste projects. There was £6m in cash at the end of May 2021.

EPE Special Opportunities (ESO) is investing €10m in the €150m offer by new SPAC EPIC Acquisition Corp, which will be listed on Euronext Amsterdam. The target company would be involved in the consumer sector. EPE has published a prospectus for the issue of up to 20 million zero dividend preference shares at 100p each.

Capital for Colleagues (CFCP) has concluded a partial disposal of its investment in TPS Investment, which distributes pipes and valves. There was an initial £200,000 and £121,000 will be received from a share buyback about the company. That leaves a stake in TPS valued at £510,000.

Aquis Stock Exchange-quoted non-fungible tokens (NFTs) investor NFT Investments (NFT) has swapped its £500,000 investment in Kodoku Studios for a 3% stake in Pioneer Media (PNER) valued at £2m and £125,000 in cash. Mike Edwards is a director of NFT and Pioneer. NFT has invested $1m in NFT Studios Ltd in return for a 20% stake.

Watchstone Group (WTG) has filed a claim against KPMG totalling £13.73m plus interest. This relates to the audit of the 2013 accounts of the company, then known as Quindell. These accounts were restated and the FRC fined and reprimanded KPMG.

Quetzal Capital (QTZ) has invested £1.5m in a convertible loan to TAP Global Ltd and it has an option to acquire 100%. TAP Global is a regulated (by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission) Crypto-Fiat exchange services provider, which plans to provide a bridge between traditional and crypto assets. TAP Global is already generating revenues.

Altona Rare Earths (ANR) has completed the 2021 drilling programme at the Mozambique Monte Muambe project. Chief executive Christian Taylor-Wilkinson bought 66,560 shares at 11.3p each and he owns 6.3% of the company.

South Africa-based social impact company Inqo Investments Ltd (INQO) raised cash from selling land and this has strengthened the balance sheet. Inqo continues to lose money.

Belvedere Leisure (BL03) has taken control of the 160 acre Barnsoul caravan park, which was near to full capacity during the peak season. Development of the park is continuing ahead of a reopening next spring.

Evrima (EVA) has elected to maintain its project level interest of between 8.86% and 9.26% in the Molopo Farms complex. Kavango Resources (KAV) is exercising its option to take a stake of more than 50%.

Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) has launched a new platform called AQRU, which is a platform that enables institutional investors simple access to crypto yields available in DeFi. Recently purchased Accru Finance developed AQRU, which will not be open to UK-based investors until it is approved by the FCA.

Fuel additives supplier SulNOx Group (SNOX) has signed a distribution agreement with LocoSoco Group.

MiLOC Group Ltd (ML.P) has raised £23,000 at 28.5p a share.

Slater Investments has increased its stake in Arbuthnot Banking (ARBB) from 3.05% to 5.15%.

Rogue Baron (SHNJ) managing director Ryan Dolder bought 32,477 shares at 12p each and 58.827 shares at 9.5p each, taking his stake to 10.5%.

Sativa Wellness (SWEL) has appointed Arden as corporate adviser. It hopes that the broker can help to improve the share price.

AIM

Battery technology developer Gelion (GELN) raised £16m at 145p a share when it joined AIM. The share price has soared to 265p. Australia-based Gelion is a zinc-bromide battery storage technology developer. It is also developing battery additives for use in lithium-ion and lithium-sulfur batteries. Gelion Endure zinc-bromide batteries are suited for harsh environments and the non-flow zinc-bromide technology means that they can be smaller than rival lithium-ion and lead-acid technologies and are recyclable. The cash will be used to accelerate development spending.

Skillcast Group (SKL) provides content and software to companies for their training and compliance requirements. Skillcast has joined AIM to raise further cash to invest in cloud technology and training content. It raised £3.5m in a placing at 37p a share and the share price ended the week at 43p. Revenues are generated from professional services and SaaS subscriptions and the main growth comes from the latter. There were annual recurring revenues of £5.06m at the end of June 2021. Clients include Schroders and GKN. The shares are tightly held.

A trading statement from franchised lettings and estate agency Belvoir Group (BLV) led to a 3% upgrade in forecast 2021 earnings to 20.3p a share.

IPTV technology developer Mirada (MIRA) grew interim revenues by 10% to $6m thanks to increasing installations for izzi Telecom. Mirada has buit up a 5% global share of the Android TV market. The increasing use of resellers in different regions of the world should help Mirada to grow more quickly than it could relying on direct sales. There was a recent partnership agreement with North America-focused Shift 2 Stream.

Vector Capital (VCAP) says 2021 revenues and pre-tax profit will be better than expected.

Interim revenues of Coral Products (CRU) were 58% ahead at £7.1m and pre-tax profit improved from £494,000 to £698,000. The interim dividend is 0.5p a share. Plastic lotion pumps supplier Global One-Pak was hit by the ill-health of its boss and problems importing from China, but trading is improving.

Human capital services provider Mind Gym (MIND) increased its interim revenues by two-thirds to £24.1m and it returned to profit. Revenues are back to the levels in the first half of 2019, although the profit is much lower. Digital revenues account for 81% of the latest revenues.

Online fashion retailer Sosandar (SOS) nearly trebled its interim revenues, helped by maintaining high stock levels following the fundraising earlier this year. Strong trading, both from the company’s website and through third parties, continues to be strong. October was a record month and November was even better. The full year revenues forecast has been raised by 11% to £27.1m. Sosandar could move into profit next year.

Cenkos has upgraded its free cash flow forecast for Duke Royalty (DUKE) following the latest interims. It is expected to be 2.3p a share, which will cover the forecast dividend of 2.2p a share. There is a record deal pipeline

Lekoil Nigeria is offering to acquire the 60% of Lekoil Ltd (LEK) that it does not own for double the suspension price of 0.95p or for a share exchange.

MAIN MARKET

Guernsey-registered technology shell Hambro Perks Acquisition Company Ltd (HPA1) raised £140m through a placing at 1000p per unit (one public share and 0.5 of one public warrant). The price went to premium and fell back to 1000p. An attractive market, innovative product or service, scalability and strong management will be required in any target. The target business would be valued at £800m or more. The Hambro Perks Ltd advisory business has expertise in investing in early-stage technology businesses and could have potential targets in its funds.

Town Centre Properties (TOWN) maintained its underlying NAV at 284p a share. Net debt was reduced to £145.6m and LTV is 51.3% at the end of June 2021. The full loss was significantly reduced, although there was cash generated from operations. The final dividend is 1.75p a share, taking the total for the year to 3.5p a share, down from 5p a share.

Telecoms services provider Toople (TOOP) is raising £380,000 at 0.045p a share. The previous placing was at 0.11p a share during October 2020.

Rebel shareholders in beverages supplier East Imperial (EISB) have withdrawn their general meeting requisition following the appointment of Alistair McGeorge as chairman and Colin Henry as a non-exec. Rabindra Lal Soni has resigned as chairman.

AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Good Energy (GOOD) is partnering with Barrow Green Gas for gas shipping services. This should help the company to grow the amount of biomethane that it supplies to domestic customers. Founder Juliet Davenport has sold 50,000 shares at 317.6245p each, while finance director Rupert Sanderson has sold 17,680 at 341p each.

Decentralised finance investor Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) is acquiring platform developer Defi Yield Technologies Inc in return for 348.7 million shares. Dispersion already owned a 6.1% interest that cost C$1m.

Omni-Egis (OMNI), which was formerly known as First Sentinel, has decided to leave Aquis. Trading has already been suspended because of the lack of 2020 accounts and management believes it can save £200,000 a year. If shareholders agree the cancellation will happen on 24 November.

Valereum Blockchain (VLRM) has raised £2m at 40p a share with a warrant attached that is exercisable at 80p. Valereum has an option to acquire 80% of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange. No details have been revealed but the transaction will require the approval of the Gibraltar authorities. The idea is that the Gibraltar Stock Exchange will introduce mainstream trading in cryptocurrencies.

Pioneer Media Holdings (PNER) is raising C$1.5m at C$1 per unit, which is one share and one warrant exercisable at C$1.50. Pioneer Media has agreed to acquire Kodoku Studios, which is involved in NFT-gaming and developing a platform called The Pit, which will enable creators to host their own NFT arenas. The acquisition will cost C$850,000 in cash and eight million Pioneer Media shares at C$1 each. Pioneer Media says that it will be the only quoted investment company focused on NFT gaming.

Helium Ventures (HEV) is making its first investment since joining Aquis. Helium Ventures is investing A$400,000 in ASX-listed Blue Star Helium at A$0.056 cents a share. Blue Star has exploration projects in North America and the A$15m it has raised will be used to drill ten wells over the next 15 months.

In the year to April 2021, IamFire (FIRE) had net assets of £919,000, Since then £369,000 has been raised in a share issue.

Rutherford Health (RUTH) has treated the first prostate cancer patient with a combination of its technology and a treatment developed by Panthera. This is part of a phase II study to determine the optimum dose for the Panthera drug.

Black Sea Property (BSP) had net assets of €21.8m at the end of June 2021, down from €22.4m at the end of 2020. Net debt was €16.4m.

AIM

Smaller companies broker Arden Partners (ARDN) is being acquired by legal services firm Ince (INCE), one of its own clients, in an all-share offer. Ince is offering seven shares for every 12 Arden shares in a bid recommended by the board of the broker. Assuming an Ince share price of 53p, this values each Arden share at 31p and the total share capital at £10m. Arden shareholders will own just over one-fifth of the enlarged share capital of the group. Irrevocable acceptances equate to 44.5% of the Arden share capital. This merger will enable a full range of professional services to be offered to clients. The deal is expected to be earnings enhancing and there should be a continuation of Ince’s policy to distribute one-fifth of post-tax profit in dividends.

IG Design Group (IGR) is generating the expected revenues this year, but it its warning that margins are coming under pressure from increased costs and supply problems. Progressive Research has slashed its underlying operating margin forecast from last year’s figure of 4.8% to 2.8%. Previously, a 2021-22 operating margin of 6.1% was forecast. Forecast revenues are being maintained at $934.3m, compared with $873.2m last year. There will be a full 12-month contribution from the CSS acquisition. The slump in margin means that forecast underlying pre-tax profit has been more than halved to $21.3m, down from $37m last year.

Norish (NSH) has completed the sale of its cold stores and intends to pay a 166p a share dividend out of the cash. The company will be renamed Roebuck Food Group and will have food products sourcing and dairy farming operations.

Arrow Exploration (AXL) is traded on the TSX Venture Exchange and has gained a second quotation on AIM. Arrow raised £7.6m after expenses at 6.25p a share and this will be spent on the drilling of five wells on the Tapir block in Colombia. Arden partners forecasts 2022 sales of $20m and EBITDA of $10m, based on successful drilling. Management believes that if the wells are successful then production could average more than 2,000 barrels of oil equivalent/day, rising to 3,000 barrels/day by March 2023. The share price ended the week at 7.875p.

Specialist cleaning services provider React Group (REAT) admitted that its full year trading was disappointing, and the pre-tax profit forecast has been reduced by £100,000 to £684,000. Covid-19 decontamination work was not as buoyant later in the year and reactive work was also weak. New contract wins are building up the recurring revenues base.

MAIN MARKET

Building supplies retailer Wickes (WIX) says third quarter like-for-like sales fell by 1.6%. the 2021 pre-tax profit is expected to be between £67m and £75m. The share price has fallen since the demerger from Travis Perkins.

Dukemount Capital (DKE) improved full year revenues from £2.39m to £3.3m, but the loss increased from £332,000 to £914,000. That was mainly due to much higher professional fees. The revenues come form the property management business and the newer flexible power joint venture is still in development.

Digital transformation business Kin and Carta (KCT) increased full year revenues by 12.5% to £141.4m, while adjusted pre-tax profit improved from £8.1m to £13m, although that is before pension and acquisition charges. The order book is worth £70m. The plan is to organically double revenues over four years.

Lush co-founder Andrew Gerrie plans to float a new shell called Silverwood Brands on the Aquis Stock Exchange. The strategy is to acquire and develop consumer brands and pay with shares and cash. Hotel Chocolat (HOTC) founder Angus Thirlwell is an adviser. Silverwood Brands was formed in August. There are currently 100 shares, which were issued at par value of 1p. A pre-IPO subscription of £1m recently closed.

Boanerges (BNRG) has agreed to acquire the business and assets of digital ecommerce company WeShop, where AIM-quoted Brandshield Systems (BRSD), Vela Technologies (VELA), Primorus Investments (PRIM) and IamFire (FIRE) are shareholders. The payment will be 33.33 million shares at 75p each, compared with a market price of 77p, following a May flotation at 20p a share. Boanerges intends to leave Aquis and join the JP Jenkins matched bargain facility. Boanerges is offering to acquire any shares bought since the Aquis flotation at 75p each. Boanerges believes it has the cash it requires to develop the WeShop business, and it may seek a listing in the future.

Arbuthnot Banking (ARBB) says customer deposits have increased by 19% to £2.8bn so far this year, while loans have risen by one-quarter to £1.97bn. Assets under management are 14% higher at £1.3bn.

Capital for Colleagues (CFCP) has sold its investment in Office for Public Management for £469,000, having invested £250,000.

Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) has acquired Accru Finance for £8.75m in the form of 250 million shares. The vendors will own 29% of Dispersion and the founders Philip Blows and Digby Try will join the Dispersion board. The former will become chief executive. Accru is developing cryptocurrency trading platform, which is yet to get FCA approval.

Altona Rare Earths (ANR) has agreed to acquire a 51% interest in the Chambe rare earths project in Malawi and this new deal is likely to delay the move to the standard list. An initial payment of one million shares will be held in escrow until the exploration licence is transferred to a new company in which Altona can increase its interest to 70%.

Vulcan Industries (VULC) reported revenues of £5.23m in the year to March 2021. There was a loss of £3.42m. Net debt is £3.4m.

There was a £891,000 cash outflow at Semper Fortis Esports (SEMP) in the six months to July 2021. There is still £1.77m in the bank.

AIM

Bens Creek Group (BEN) has acquired coking coal mining assets in West Virginia, and it believes it can restart production before the end of 2021. The estimated coal resources are 17.2 million in-place tons with proven and probable reserves of 2.34 million tons. Bens Creek raised £5.8m, after expenses, at 10p a share when it joined AIM. Bens Creek announced an offtake agreement for washed Hi-Vol-B metallurgical coal with Integrity Coal Sales, which has agreed to take 22,000 US short ton of coal each month for a 12-month period. This deal starts in January and covers 50% of expected production volumes. The current market price is $277/short ton and the price paid will depend on the market price at the time. This deal sparked an uptick in the share price, which reached 13.25p by the end of the week.

Devon-based Tungsten West (TUN) is developing the Hemerdon tungsten and tine mine near Plymouth and it joined AIM during the week. The share price ended the week at 63p, up from the 60p at which £39m was raised before expenses. Hemerdon was previously owned by Wolf Minerals, which went into administration, and acquired by Tungsten West two years ago. There had previously been more than £170m invested in the mine. There is an estimated mineral resource of 325Mt at 0.12% tungsten. A bankable feasibility study was completed in March.

Disinfection products supplier Tristel (TSTL) reported lower revenues and profit but that was down to stockpiling in the comparative period. Revenues were 2% lower at £31m, while pre-tax profit fell by one-quarter to £5.4m, which is similar to the 2018-19 level. Profit growth should recommence this year, but it will take time to beat the 2019- 20 figure. Tristel is shedding non-core products, which will reduce costs. Progress continues with US product approvals.

ASX-listed Future Metals (FME) did not raise any cash when it gained a secondary quotation on AIM. The share price ended the first day of trading at 12.25p and then fell to 10.5p. The company was previously quoted on AIM as Red Emperor Resources and has returned following the acquisition of 100% of the Panton PGM project in Western Australia. There is definitely a resource. A bankable feasibility study was completed by previous owners in September 2003, and it was reviewed in 2011. There is a JORC mineral resource of 14.3Mt at 5.2g/t PGM and 2.4m ounces of gold. There is also nickel, cobalt and copper mineralisation.

Solid State (SOLI) has an order book at record levels. The order book has increased by 48% to £61.5m with orders stretching further ahead than in the past. Interim pre-tax profit is estimated to have risen from £2.6m to £3.3m. Operating margins benefited from a change in product mix.

Internet domain name registry and services provider CentralNic (CNIC) is continuing to perform ahead of expectations. Organic growth was 29% in first nine months of this year. CentralNic expects full year EBITDA of at least $32m, up from $22.1m in 2020.

MAIN MARKET

LED lighting and wiring accessories supplier Luceco (LUCE) is trading in line with expectations of achieving a full year underlying operating profit of at least £39m. Revenues are 36% higher than the 2020 figure. Gross margins are slightly lower due to cost pressures.

AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Ecotricity has failed in its takeover bid for Good Energy (GOOD). Ecotricity had a 25.1% stake and acceptances of the bid totalled 11.5% of God Energy. Acceptances did increase significantly in the last few days of the bid, but they are still well below the level required for the bid to succeed. The offer has lapsed.

National Milk Record (NMRP) reported flat full year revenues of £21.9m, while like-for-like growth was 3.5%. This was despite the cyber attack last year. Pre-tax profit improved from £929,000 to £1.65m with help from lower overheads and a higher contribution from a joint venture. Net debt was reduced to £1m by the end of June 2021. The dividend was increased from 1.25p a share to 1.5p a share. Genomics revenues should build up this year.

Quantum Exponential Group plans to join Aquis. The plan is to identify opportunities in the quantum technology sector. More than 175 start-ups have been identified. Notion Capital will be involved with any investments. This is another investment company being floated by David William – the most recent was standard listed Bay Capital (BAY).

NFT Investments (LSE: NFT) has made two new investments. The first is a C$100,000 investment in Big Whale Labs, a decentralised social network platform. The other investment is $1.4m in Sturdy Exchange, which is a subsidiary of Sturdy Agency. Sturdy Exchange is a marketplace to display, collect and trade NFTs created by artists and performers. So far, four investments have been made.

Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) is holding a general meeting on 26 October in order to gain shareholder permission to issue more shares.

Yooma Wellness Inc (YOOM) is acquiring Tokyo-based Vertex for $12m. The initial payment is $2.5m with $6.5m to follow in April 2023 and the last payment of $3m in April 2024. Vertex sells wellness products via home shopping channels in Japan.

BWA Group (BWAP) has won its case against JV Capital and has been awarded £74,169.

Wheelsure Holdings (WHLP) is collaborating with Sedwell Ltd to develop a secure digital fastener for use in the global rail market. Sedwell has bolt load monitoring technology.

TechFinancials (TECH) has sold its CEDEX subsidiary. There is no initial payment. There could be cash received if the company is sold or raises $20m of new money.

Gunsynd (GUN) says that investee company Pacific Nickel has a JORC resource estimate for the Jejevo tenement in the Solomon Islands, where it has a 80% stake. Jejevo has a mineral resource of 14.42 million tonnes at 1l.29% nickel.

Trading in Harrogate Group (HGTE) shares has been suspended because its 2020-21 accounts have not been published.

Robert Hanson has bought a 0.36% stake in Oberon Investments (OBE) through a share purchase at 6.85p each. Burns Singh Tennent-Bhohi has bought one million Oscillate (MUSH) shares at 2p each.

Michael Williams and Robert Porter-Smith have stepped down from the British Honey (BHC) board.

EPE Special Opportunities Ltd (ESO) had net assets of 488.21p a share at the end of September 2021.

AIM

Tortilla Mexican Grill (MEX) operates and franchises fast-casual Mexican restaurants offering California-inspired food. It raised £5m at 181p a share. The cash raised in the flotation, plus a new senior finance facility of up to £10m, will provide working capital and fund the UK roll out and development of franchise opportunities. Tortilla Mexican Grill has 52 restaurants in the UK, two of which are franchised with SSP – they are at Euston station and Gatwick airport. There are also ten franchised sites in the Middle East – the franchisee is Eathos. Six sites have opened this year. A new site costs between £350,000 and £425,000 to kit out.

Continuing operations of plastic products supplier Coral Products (CRU) increased revenues from £8.7m to £10.7m in the year to April 2021. Underlying profit jumped from £230,000 to £756,000. This could rise to £1m this year with the existing businesses. Once the Haydock site has been sold there should be cash of more than £7m.

Compliance and energy saving services provider Sureserve (SUR) says its order book has grown by more than 30%. Net cash was more than £16m. The results will be announced on 25 January.

Elliott Bernerd of international property developer Chelsfield is taking a significant stake in AIM-quoted chartered surveyor and property adviser Fletcher King (FLK). He is investing £547,000 in new shares and buying existing shares so that his stake is 29.99%. He is buying the shares at 52.5p a share, which is a premium to the market price.

AMTE Power (AMTE) is on course to launch its first commercial battery cell product before the end of 2021. This is a product for the automotive market. There should also be news in the coming months about the site for the company’s UK Gigafactory.

CEPS (CEPS) has restructured its investment interests and the latest interims are the first with the ongoing businesses. Revenues increased by 65% to £9m and lower group overheads meant that operating profit before exceptionals improved from £357,000 to £855,000. Building services company Hickton increased its profit, as did Aford Awards. That offset a lower contribution from stretch fabric supplier Friedman’s.

Palm oil plantation operator Dekel Agri-Vision (DKL) processed 12% more fresh fruit bunches in September 2021 than the year before, while the crude palm oil price was 76% higher than the same month last year. The new cashew plant should be up and running in October. Dekel is on course to be profitable this year.

MAIN MARKET

NMCN (NMCN) has appointed Grant Thornton as administrator. Galliford Try (GFRD) has acquired the company’s water sector businesses, which have annual revenues of £100m, for £1m in cash.

Reserve power generator Mast Energy Developments (MAST) has completed the acquisition of Rochdale Power. This is the third site in the portfolio of sites under development that will have a total capacity of 18.4 MW.

Adnams (ADB) says that trading has improved since 17 May with strong demand for hotel accommodation. Interim revenues were flat at £20.5m, while the loss dipped from £3.87m to £3.34m. Net bank debt was £13.4m at the end of June 2021.

GP software provider DXS International (DXSP) increased its full year revenues from £3.28m to £3.61m, while pre-tax profit improved from £239,000 to £254,000 even though the amortisation charge was significantly higher. There was £1.24m of cash generated from operations, although that is less than the £1.5m of capitalised research and development spending.

Good Energy (GOOD) continues to reject the 340p a share bid by Ecotricity because it undervalues the company. Management believes that the company can grow significantly as an independent entity. They also point out that Ecotricity is loss-making.

Oscillate (MUSH) has made a pre-IPO investment in Psych Capital, which would be one of first quoted psychedelic healthcare companies. Oscillate has acquired a 10.4% stake for £300,000. The Oscillate finance director is also finance director of Psych Capital. Richard and Charlotte Edwards have increased their stake in Oscillate from 5.94% to 8.31%. Oscillate has a 24.6% stake in Igraine (KING) which says that the report on the ARCADIA trial – relating to a potential treatment for people with diabetes suffering from Covid-19 – will be published by Excalibur Medicines on 6 September. Igraine has a 2% stake in Excalibur Medicines and also a co-investment agreement.

Yooma Wellness Inc (YOOM) is making the first of its promised acquisitions. It is paying up to £10.2m in cash and shares for Birmingham-based Vitality CBD, which sells its products through Boots, Tesco and Asda. Revenues were £1.6m in the first half of 2021.

Clarify Pharma (PSYC) has also made its first acquisition since joining Aquis. It has contributed $700,000 to a fundraising by Beckley Psytech. This gives Clarify a 0.26% stake. Beckley is developing psychedelic compounds to treat neurological and psychiatric disorders.

Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) has invested $200,000 in Blimp Technologies Inc, which has a platform that rewards homebuyers and sellers for contributing value to a tokenised network established by Home Network Foundation. Dispersion has made a second investment in Defi Yield Technologies Inc. The C$800,000 investment follows an initial investment of C$200,000, which was at a lower share price. This takes the shareholding to 2.24 million shares.

Watchstone Group (WTG) reduced its underlying admin expenses but there was still a £2.31m cash outflow in the first half of 2021. NAV was £15.4m at the end of June 2021. Watchstone has £14.1m in the bank and £1.8m more in escrow. The focus is on continuing litigation.

Eastinco Mining (EM.P) had a £528,000 outflow from operating activities in 2020. There was £52,000 of cash at the end of 2020.

SulNOx Group (SNOX) reduced its loss from £1.81m to £856,000 in the year to March 2021. SulNOx intends to move to AIM.

Coinsilium (COIN) has invested £300,000 in shares in financial services firm Greengage Global and is subscribing for up to £200,000 in convertible loan notes.

Evrima (EVA) has completed its investment in Eastport Ventures Inc, which is planning a flotation.

Abdelatif Lachab has increased his stake in Helium Ventures (HEV) from 5.94% to 6.23%.

AIM

Floorcoverings distributor Likewise (LIKE) switched from The International Stock Exchange to AIM last week and raised £10m at 25p a share. The cash raised will provide working capital for growth and cash for acquisitions. There will also be investment in further distribution centres, including a larger site in Manchester. Likewise chief executive Tony Brewer joined Headlam in 1991 and became chief executive in 2000. He left the company in 2016. The plan is to be a national distributor with revenues of more than £200m and an operating margin of more than 5% are targeted. Trading has been ahead of budget in the first half of 2021. Daily revenues exceeded £250,000 in each of May and June. The share price has risen to 31p.

Interim figures from plastic packaging manufacturer Robinson (RBN) led to a sharp downgrading of the 2021 pre-tax profit forecast. Raw material prices have soared, and volumes have not grown as fast as expected. Interim revenues were 19% higher at £21.2m – there was modest like-for-like growth excluding the Schela acquisition. A slump in gross margins meant that the business fell into loss. An interim dividend of 2.5p a share has been announced.

Piling contractor Van Elle (VANL) lost money last year, but it should return to profit this year.  In the year to April 2021, revenues were flat at £84.4m, which was a good outcome because revenues were sharply lower in the first quarter due to lockdown. The underlying loss was one-third higher at £1.2m. The cold winter also held back progress. Van Elle plans to pay a dividend next year if trading goes to plan.

SkinBioTerapeutics (SBTX) had more cash than expected at the year end and it has set the price for its AxisBiotix-Ps food supplement. In the UK, the psoriasis treatment will cost £1.50 per sachet, which is higher than expected. There was £4.6m in the bank at the end of June, compared with expectations of £3.4m.

Intelligent Ultrasound (IUG) AI technology has yet to make a significant contribution to revenues. GE is offering ScanNav Assist as an option on its SWIFT ultrasound machine, but first half revenues were minimal because of Covid-19 restrictions holding back marketing. Even so, interim revenues increased by 36% to £3.6m due to higher sales of training simulators. That growth is continuing and AI revenues will build up over the longer-term.

MTI Wireless Edge (LON: MWE) has continued to grow its profit and demand is improving for its antennas with new contracts from space and naval customers. In the first half of 2021, revenues improved from $19.6m to $21.3m, while pre-tax profit rose from $1.83m to $2.05m.

Engineer Tricorn (TCN) has appointed administrators because it is running out of money and the board is trying to sell the trading operations. Trading in the shares has been suspended and Arden has resigned as nominated adviser.

DBAY Advisors has decided not to bid for credit hire and legal services firm Anexo (ANX). Trading has been ahead of expectations at Anexo.

MAIN MARKET

Trading in standard list shell Pineapple Power Corp (PNPL) shares has been suspended following the announcement of the reverse takeover of BVP Investments and its sustainability-focused investment portfolio.

Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) has completed the reverse takeover of Atomic Oil and Gas. This adds producing assets. Oil production is expected to continue to increase. Other potential asset acquisitions are being assessed.

Tirupati Graphite (TGR) is acquiring Suni Resources SA, which has a portfolio of graphite interests in Mozambique. They include the Montepuez graphite project which is already under construction. The acquisition will cost £6.6m.

Brewer Shepherd Neame (SHEP) says trading has picked up since 12 April and was even better from 17 May. Beer volumes are good, but the company lost money in the year to June 2021. Between 12 April and 26 June managed pub revenues were 84% of the same time in 2019, while tenanted pubs achieved 77% of the volume in 2019. Tenanted pubs return to paying normal rent on 2 August. Net debt is £89.8m.

Brands owner and ecommerce technology platform operator Samarkand (SMK) increased its revenues by 201% in the year to March 2021, but that was flattered by one-off personal protective equipment revenues. Since the year end a Tokyo office has been opened. The latest technology, Nomad Checkout is being piloted.

Oberon Investments (OBE) more than trebled its revenues to £3.8m in the year to March 2021. Assets under administration increased by 340% to more than £550m and more investment management firms were acquired after the year end. The broking operation has already started to win clients and has raised £30m since June 2020. There were record first quarter revenues. Chris Akers has taken a 3.58% stake.

CBD and hemp products supplier Love Hemp (LIFE) has increased its full year revenues by 60% to £4.31m, although second half revenues were lower than those in the first half, which benefitted from large orders by Boots and Holland and Barrett. This year online revenues are expected to increase significantly.

NQ Minerals (NQMI) has requested that trading of the shares on Aquis should cease. There are problems with the company’s 2020 accounts. Begbies Traynor has been appointed to advise on restructuring, but the board is unsure whether the company can continue trading.

KR1 (KR1) has invested $100,000 in the Redstone project, which will be changed for tokens at a later date. Redstone is a cross-chain data oracle technology that provides fast access to data and historic audit trail. A further $269,892 was invested in Interlay for 1,224 series seed shares.

S-Ventures (SVEN) has acquired plant-based nutrition products supplier Pulsin for £2m in cash, £2m in loan notes and 15.18 million shares. The issue of three million of the shares is deferred and dependent on sales in 2021. Pulsin has net debt of £1.2m and generated sales of 37.05m in the year to April 2021. S-Ventures already owns Ohso Chocolate and snacks firm We Love Purely.

EPE Special Opportunities (ESO) has invested £22.5m for a majority stake in a company that owns homeware brands, including Kilner, Viners, Typhoon and Ravenhead. In 2020, revenues were £35.6m.

Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) had net cash of £8.8m at the end of July 2021. It has also invested £910,000 in decentralised finance investments.

Black Sea Property (BSP) is selling a property in Cyprus for €1.06m, compared with a valuation of €830,000.

Coinsilium (COIN) has moved to the Apex segment.

AIM

Big Technologies (BIG) provides remote and personal monitoring services, predominantly to the criminal justice market, and the technology has been developed over more than a decade. The company raised £14.7m after expenses at 200p a share. There was also £185.6m raised by existing shareholders, which sold around one-third of the shares in issue. In three days of trading the share price soared to 355p, which values the company at £1bn. Revenues increased from £19.3m in 2019 to £29.6m in 2020 thanks to new contracts and additional revenues from existing customers. Pre-tax profit jumped from £5.53m to £12.7m.

Tracsis (TRCS) has won a multi-year contract for its RailHub planning software. The deal is worth several million pounds, and this will make an initial high margin contribution to the financial year to July 2021. It sparked a £1m uplift in the 2021 profit forecast to £10.5m.

The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) has doubled interim revenues, helped by the Hunters acquisition early this year. Organic growth was 35%.

Hostels operator Safestay (SSTY) had a tough 2020 and has just published its 2020 figures. It achieved 38% occupancy in its hostels when they were open. The loss was £10m. NAV is £28.5m. Leasehold sales have helped to reduce bank debt to £18m in July 2021. There are 16 hostels currently trading and the other two are set to reopen.

Seed Innovations (SEED) has a 5.1% stake in Canadian Stock Exchange listed CDD and health products supplier Yooma Wellness Inc, which is joining Aquis on 10 August.

MAIN MARKET

Spinnaker Acquisitions (SPAQ) is a new cash shell that has been brought to the market by the same team that floated Spinnaker Opportunities, which eventually acquired cannabis products supplier Kanabo (KNB). It raised £2.08m at 10p a share. The share price has risen to 12.5p, but there is a wide spread of 10p/15p. Spinnaker is seeking to acquire a business in the sustainability and energy transition services markets.

Motor dealer Lookers (LOOK) outperformed the market in the first half of 2021 with a like-for-like increase in vehicle sales of 45%. The interim profit will be around £50m, which is one-fifth higher than previous expectations.

AQUIS STOCK EXCHANGE

Good Energy (GOOD) says it is perming better this year than in the same period last year which included the start of the lockdown. Forward buying has improved margins. The smart meter rollout is accelerating.

Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) has invested C$200,000 at 18 cents a share in Defi Yield Technologies Inc. This gives it a 3.5% shareholding in the company that is developing a platform for decentralised financial services.

Altona Rare Earths (ANR) has raised £178,000 at 12p a share, which was a premium to the market price. Altona subsequently acquired up to 70% of the Monte Muambe rare earths project. It will take a 1% stake on signing the deal and increase it to 20% in phase 1 when £40,000 in cash is paid and one million shares are issued. In order to take a 70% stake a total of £240,000 in cash will be paid and three million Altona shares have to be issued. On top of this there are minimum expenditure commitments over three phases of the project.

Rogue Baron (SHNJ) says its bar in Washington DC increased sales by 38% to $225,000 in the three months to May 2021 even though capacity has halved. Trading in the shares has started on OTCQB.

Tectonic Gold (TTAU) is preparing to drill the Specimen Hill project in Queensland. There have been positive results from sampling and the structural modelling of the site has been completed.

Capital for Colleagues (CFCP) had net assets of 64.06p a share at the end of May 2021. It sold his investment in Anthesis Consulting for £1.15m during the period. There was cash of £2.65m at the end of May 2021.

DiscovOre (ORE) is changing its name to Oscillate. and it will focus on the medical psychedelic industry. This includes treatments for drug-resistant depression, anxiety, addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Ananda Developments (ANA) expects to begin construction of a research facility in July. Strains of medicinal cannabis have been selected for research. Liberty Herbal Technologies has received a US patent for its vaping device.

CBD products supplier Sativa Wellness Group Inc (SWEL) has opened its 40th testing clinic for travellers and has introduced blood testing for Covid-19 immune response through some clinics. The clinics will be listed on the NHS Patient Access service.

Valereum Blockchain (VLRM) has raised £1m at 70p a share.

Virgata Services has extended its offer for Walls & Futures REIT (WAFR).

Tim and Charlotte Syder have increased their stake in Newbury Racecourse (NYR) from 4.5% to 8.7% and they appear to have been bought from Andy and Judith Stewart.

AIM

Printed circuit technology developer and supplier Trackwise Designs (TWD) has disappointed the market due to electric vehicle contract delays. Interim revenues more than doubled from £2.91m to £6.07m thanks to the initial contribution from Stevenage Circuits. A pre-tax profit of £200,000 in 2019 was turned into a loss of £400,000. There is currently net cash of £2.87m. The new factory should open later in the year.

Demand for Accoya wood continues to be strong, but Accsys Technologies (AXS) will not be able to increase production capacity until a new reactor is installed in the Netherlands later in the year to March 2022. In 2020-21, Accsys moved into profit and cash generation improved. A decision is awaited about how Accsys will make progress with the Hull Tricoya plant, where the contractor has resigned. Cash was raised in May to finance the US joint venture, but more cash may be required.

First Property (FPO) had to reduce the valuations of its owned Polish properties last year and that hit net assets. Management says that some of that valuation reduction should be reversed following a restructuring of the finance lease on one of the properties. NAV fell 22% to 42.8p a share at the end of March 2021 and it could improve to 48.8p next March. Loan to value is 45.3%. There is no final dividend.

In 2020, Dekel Agri-Vision (DKL) reported revenues of €22.5m and a reduced loss. The palm oil supplier will benefit from the higher palm oil price this year, enabling it to move into profit. The cashew plant will also make a contribution.

Musical instruments retailer Gear4Music (G4M) performed strongly last year, and revenues improved from £120.3m to £157.5m, while pre-tax profit jumped from £3.1m to £14.6m. This year will be tough, though. Pre-tax profit is forecast to fall back to £7.5m even though current trading is better than expected. The company has started buying existing brands. Premier is a drums brand and Eden is a bass amp supplier. Further acquisitions are likely.

Packaging manufacturer Robinson (RBN) says that revenues in the first five months of 2021 are 17% ahead of the same time last year. This is mainly due to an initial contribution from the Schela acquisition and passing on raw material costs – volumes are 1% ahead.

Jade Road Investments (JADE) had a net asset value of 67p a share at the end of 2020. There was an improved valuation of quarry company Future Metal Holdings. The three-year mining licence has been renewed and an independent assessment of the business will be published later this year.

Tristel (TSTL) has gained approval for foam-based surface disinfectant Jet from the EPA in the US. This will enable approvals to be sought with individual states. Tristel Duo, the disinfectant for ultrasound devices, has been approved in Canada and South Korea.

Vector Capital (VCAP) has raised £1.5m at 47p a share and this will be used for marketing and increasing the loan book. The cash raised at the end of 2020 has been deployed.

Location Sciences (LSAI) has given 12 months notice to its chief executive and finance director. They are continuing to work in the business.

MAIN MARKET

Nottinghamshire-based construction and infrastructure services provider NMCN (NMCN) has secured a highly dilutive rescue fundraising after falling into financial difficulties The company continues to lose money and the terms reflect the dire financial position. A £14m subscription is proposed, with a up to £5m more to come from an open offer. There is also a £10m convertible bridging loan – convertible at 20p a share and with fees and interest it equates to 62.4 million shares. Svella, which is run by former Stobart boss Andrew Tinkler, will subscribe for up to £7.4m of the subscription shares and provide the loan.

Fasteners supplier Trifast (TRI) reported slightly better than expected 2020-21 figures. Industrial activity is recovering. This year pre-tax profit is expected to improve from £11m to £12.9m.

Tirupati Graphite (TGR) has increased sales of its graphite products CarboflameX and GrafEN 45545 with trial and sample orders received. Land has been secured for a dedicated product development facility.

Cizzle Biotechnology (CIZ) has signed a deal to develop a companion diagnostic with St George Street Capital for certain of its potential autoimmune treatment assets that it has licensed. This deal takes Cizzle into a new area, but lung cancer remains the focus.

Zegona Communications (ZEG) is paying an interim divided of 2.6p a share. That is based on the dividend from Euskaltel and does not reflect the proceeds from the telecoms company’s takeover.

Pharma C Investments (PCIL) is a shell seeking to invest in medicinal cannabis sector-focused companies, particularly those that provide ancillary products and services to the sector, and it joined the Access segment on 26 May. The indication is that plant genetics, product testing, marketing, procurement services and cannabis consumption devices are areas that might be considered. There was £920,000, after expenses, raised at 0.7p a share. Cash is equivalent to less than 0.4p a share. The shares ended the first day of trading at 0.825p (0.75p/0.9p/) and maintained that price until the end of the week.

Dispersion Holdings (DEFI) has made its first investment. An equity investment of €250,000 has been made in SportsX SAS, which is a technology platform for amateur sports clubs, for a 25% stake. SportsX SAS helps clubs to create club-branded Ethereum-based tokens. SportsX SAS takes 18% of gross merchandising revenues and charges an annual membership fee. It also retains a 10%-20% interest in club tokens. These tokens may eventually be listed on an Ethereum-based exchange, such as Uniswap.

Valereum Blockchain (VLRM) expects to launch the first listed company non-fungible token (NFT) live on a crypto exchange in the next few weeks. This will be via Valereum’s Bridge financial platform and use the Mattereum Asset Passport.

GP IT systems supplier DXS International (DXSP) maintained its profit on slightly higher turnover last year. Pilots of new systems have been continuing but the pace is slower than originally expected. Progress should speed up when there is less pressure on GPs due to Covid. Formal NHS GPIT Futures accreditation should be awarded soon for the ExpertCare hypertension product.

Virgata Services has extended its bid for Walls & Future REIT (WAFR) until 10 June. Virgata argues that the 50p a share bid provides cash immediately rather than some time in the future, even though it is a big discount to NAV.

St Mark Homes (SMAP) reported a fall in full year revenues from £324,000 to £216,000 and there was a loss of £170,000, compared with a profit of £114,000. Management is planning to refocus on developing family housing. Net assets were £5.45m (123p a share) at the end of December 2020. The share price is 87.5p (85p/90p), which values St Mark Homes at £3.86m.

Arbuthnot Banking (ARBB) has originated new loans of £247m so far this year. That means that customers owe £1.8bn. In the four months to April 2021, customer deposits increased by 10% to £2.6bn. There were £1.2bn of assets under management at the end of April.

Capital for Colleagues (CFCP) increased its NAV from 50.17p a share to 61.05p a share in the 12 months to February 2021. That includes a revaluation that reflects the March disposal proceeds for Anthesis Consulting. Interim revenues fell from £271,000 to £198,000, while pre-tax profit fell from £1.28m to £1m, due to a lower level of unrealised gains. There was £1m in the bank at the end of February and this increased to £2.64m after the latest disposal.

Oberon Investments (OBE) has acquired financial planning services provider Smythe House for £300,000 in cash and shares. Up to £233,000 more could become payable dependent on performance. That increases assets under administration by £40m. At the end of March 2021, Oberon had assets under administration of £550m and it reached more than £600m by May 2021. In the year to March 2021, revenues were 240% higher at £3.75m and momentum continues. Broking subsidiary Oberon Capital has been adding clients, including finnCap and MyHealthChecked.

TruSpine Technologies (TSP) has completed its second round of testing for the screwless, spinal stabilisation system Cervi-LOK. It took two surgeons in New York an average of 15 minutes to implant Cervi-LOK on cadavers. That is one-third of the time for other technology. The feedback was positive. There is another round of testing and clearance could be obtained as early as September. An additional £78,000 has been raised at 10p a share.

CBD products supplier Sativa Wellness Group Inc (SWEL) increased first quarter revenues by 377% to £1.37m and gross profit by 234% to £707,000. The loss has been reduced to 0.3p a share.

Ben Richardson has been appointed chief executive of SulNOX Group (SNOX) and Tony Granger becomes full-time chief administration officer. Nigel Armit is no longer finance director. Radu Forescu becomes chairman.

Good Energy (GOOD) has repaid £11.5m of Good Energy Bonds II and that will save annual interest charges of £600,000. The remaining loans total £4.9m and these should be repaid by the end of 2022.

Love Hemp Group (LIFE) raised £2.35m at 3.5p a share. The cash will fund marketing for CBD and hemp products. Coinsilium Group Ltd (COIN) raised £1.16m at 7.5p a share (with a warrant exercisable at 15p attached). The cash will be invested in non-fungible token and open finance sectors.

Mayflower Capital Investments has increased its stake in Altona Real Earths (ANR) from 14.1% to 29.5%. Ashok Patel has taken a 5.03% stake in Quetzal Capital (QTZ).

Watchstone Group (WTG) is seeking shareholder approval to cancel its AIM quotation at its AGM on 29 June.

AIM

Trellus Health (TRLS) intends to provide personalised care for people with chronic conditions with the initial focus being inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It has an exclusive licence for the commercialisation of the GRITT (Gaining Resilience Through Transition) methodology developed by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The company raised £28.5m at 40p a share. The share price jumped to 65p on the first day of trading, which values Trellus Health at £105m.

Medical devices developer Belluscura (BELL) has gained FDA clearance for its portable oxygen concentrator (POC) and it raised £17.5m – the company was originally seeking £15m of new money at 45p a share, which was in the middle of the expected range of 42p-48p. The shares ended the first day of trading at 53p.

Trading continues to be ahead of expectations at franchised lettings agency Belvoir (BLV). Management service fees 22% higher in the first four months of this year, while financial services income is 24% ahead.

Iodine producer Iofina (IOF) reported an increase in 2020 pre-tax profit from $1m to $1.3m on barely changed revenues of $29.7m. Lower interest charges and higher iodine prices will help Iofina to improve profit to $4.4m this year.

Eqtec (EQT) has raised £16m at 1.5p a share. This will finance repowering of plants in Italy and Croatia using the company’s gasification technology, plus investment in UK projects. This has led to a 26% upgrade in 2022 earnings to 0.1 eurocents a share.

MAIN MARKET

Zegona Communications (ZEG) will return £335m in cash to shareholders following the takeover of Euskaltel. The stake Zegona owns in Euskatel is equivalent to 170p a share and the cash distribution will be 153p a share. The rest of the cash is likely to fund another investment.

Kanabo Group (KNB) is raising £1m at 22p a share, which was a 10% premium to the market price. Kanabo is investing £750,000 in a pre-IPO placing by Hellenic Dynamics, a medical cannabis cultivator. A reverse takeover of an AIM shell is envisaged. There is also an agreement with Northern Greece-based Hellenic that could lead to a deal to purchase up to 1,000kg a year of cannabis flowers with pre-defined THC or CBD levels.
