Lolworth, Queensland
Two field teams have been working on site at the Company’s Lolworth Project since early May 2024, where initial field work across several gold prospects in the Upper Gorge Creek showed promising signs, including visible gold in streams and hillsides.
First rock chip results now received from the Uncle Terry Prospect are encouraging, with samples of up to 75.6 g/t Au, 1.32 g/t Au and 1.29 g/t Au from a new mineralised quartz vein situated approximately 400m north-west from the main prospect. Follow-up mapping has traced the visible part of this outcrop for at least 100m in strike and ending in a quartz blow where Galena (Lead-Silver) is clearly visible. Numerous mineralised quartz shears at least 1m wide have been mapped over the entire Uncle Terry Prospect area. The main shear zone is showing to host Lead (Pb) and Silver (Ag) with best outcrop rock chips of 1.89% Pb and 11 samples greater than 5 g/t Ag, including two highlights of 272 g/t Ag and 69 g/t Ag. ECR’s field teams are currently extending soil sampling to explore for hidden gold-bearing outcrops in the immediate vicinity.
The results for 378 rock chip samples covering all five gold prospects at the Lolworth Project are due in the coming weeks. Confirmation of the presence of further high-grade gold is expected, as samples anomalous in silver have been routinely sent to the laboratory for gold analysis. Silver has been identified as the strongest pathfinder element correlating to gold mineralisation at the Lolworth Project.
Stream sampling for gold and rare earths on the eastern side of the 1,000 km² project area is progressing well and nearing completion. Regional geological mapping has indicated the presence of significant pegmatitic intrusions. Previous work suggests that this eastern area features the same geological formations as the Oaky Creek region of the tenement where stream sampling has previously detected niobium in concentrate samples.
ECR’s field crews have also taken a bulk sample from the Oaky Creek Niobium streamline which will be used for mineralogical purposes to aid in tracking down the source rock.

Blue Mountain, Queensland
As announced on 1 August 2024, a trenching and bulk concentrate sampling programme was undertaken at the Blue Mountain Project during July of this year. A total of 15.4 cubic metres of alluvial gravel was processed through a pilot trommel wash plant, yielding 9.95 grammes of visible gold, an overall average of 1.55 grammes per b.c.m. Additionally, six bulk samples of sluice box concentrates were submitted for laboratory analysis, with best results including 192.15 g/t Au and 97.40 g/t Au within these concentrates.
Given these highly encouraging results ECR has submitted further samples to the laboratory to undergo an enhanced gold recovery process to determine the potential commercial options for recovery. The results are expected in the coming weeks.
The Blue Mountain Project consists of two exploration permits (EPM27175 and EPM27183). Both permits are in good standing and the Company has recently applied to extend the terms for an additional five years. Both tenements contain at least 12km of strike length available for follow up sampling and testing.
Tambo Project, Victoria
On 12 July 2024, ECR Minerals announced the fire assay gold results from the historic Duke of Cornwall Mine in Swifts Creek (Tambo Gold Project) with a best result including 52.2 g/t Au. A total of 10 samples returned results above 5 g/t Au. Subsequently, 84 soil samples were taken perpendicular to the strike of the Duke of Cornwall lode to gain a better understanding of the geochemical orientation with a best result of 0.56 ppm Au.
ECR Minerals is pleased to announce that terms have now been agreed with a drilling contractor and a site visit by ECR chief geologist, Adam Jones, is due to take place this week. A maiden diamond drilling campaign is expected to commence at the project in the coming weeks.
Bailieston, Victoria
On 3 July 2024, ECR Minerals announced results from additional testing for the critical mineral Antimony (Sb) from diamond core previously drilled at Bailieston, Central Victoria. 44 samples were submitted for additional multi-element testing with best results including 0.3m grading 32% Sb and 0.1m grading 1.20 % Sb.
A drilling application has now been lodged with the relevant Governmental authorities to further investigate the potential at Bailieston given the recently announced exceptional Antimony results. Further details will be announced in due course.
The ECR Board made the decision to reanalyse diamond core samples for Antimony from the Bailieston Project, drilled during the 2021-2022 campaign, due to the Melbourne Geological Zone’s reputation as a prominent host for Antimony lodes and the increasing demand for this critical mineral.
The Costerfield Mine, owned by Mandalay Resources, is a significant Antimony producer in the region, recording 1,860 tonnes of Sb in 2023. Nearby, Nagambie Resources recently announced a maiden JORC inferred resource estimate of 17,800 tonnes of Sb, while Southern Cross Gold has been actively exploring for Antimony at its Sunday Creek Project.
ECR Minerals holds exploration licenses situated 45 kilometres east of Costerfield and 25 kilometres west of Nagambie. ECR’s Bailieston Prospect (HR3) is positioned on the Bailieston Anticline, renowned for its Antimony mineralisation.
Mike Whitlow, Managing Director, said: “It has been a highly productive year for ECR, with significant progress made across our portfolio of gold and rare earths projects, and exploration activities are set to accelerate even further. We consider that we’re on the verge of identifying the key sources of gold at Lolworth, with a number of high-priority drill targets soon to be lined up for testing. This marks a pivotal step forward as we look to unlock the project’s full potential. At the Blue Mountain Project, we are eagerly anticipating the results from our enhanced gold recovery process which will be critical in guiding us towards the potential commercial options for gold extraction. In Victoria, our focus remains firmly on drilling. We’re set to commence drilling at the Tambo Project in the coming weeks and work is underway to further explore the highly prospective Antimony potential at Bailieston. With the recent surge in this critical mineral’s price, we believe that the Bailieston project’s Antimony potential may become increasingly significant.”

Background to Soil Sampling, Tambo
On 12 July 2024, ECR Minerals announced the fire assay gold results from the historic Duke of Cornwall Mine in Swifts Creek (Tambo), Victoria, Australia. Best results included 52.2 g/t Au. A total of 10 samples returned results above 5 g/t Au.
Subsequently, 84 soil samples were taken perpendicular to the strike of the Duke of Cornwall lode to gain a better understanding of the geochemical orientation with a best result of 0.56 ppm Au.
Of these, 48 samples returned results above 0.01 ppm Au and a total of 4 samples returned results greater than 0.1 ppm Au (Table 1).
A significant correlation between gold and bismuth has now been identified, highlighting bismuth as a key pathfinder element within the exploration licence.
Next Steps
Given the highly encouraging surface results, the Company is now planning its next steps which will include further evaluating the sub-surface levels of gold. Negotiations are underway with the landholder and contractors for an anticipated maiden diamond drilling campaign which is expected to commence early in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Antimony Exploration in Victoria
As announced on 3 July 2024, ECR Minerals made the decision to reanalyse diamond core samples for Antimony from its Bailieston Project, drilled during the 2021-2022 campaign, due to the Melbourne Geological Zone’s reputation as a prominent host for Antimony lodes and the increasing demand for this critical mineral. The best sample returned an Antimony result of 0.3m @ 32% Sb (drillhole BH3DD019) while a further 11 samples returned highly anomalous results.
Prices of the metal, which is used in flame-retardants, munitions and batteries, have continued to rise to new highs in 2024. Whilst still early stage, the Board is further analysing how best to advance this valuable opportunity given the wider demand and interest in the region, including identifying a suitable strategic partner to collaborate with to fund further exploration at Bailieston.
Mike Whitlow Chief Operating Officer commented: “The results of the comprehensive soil analysis at Tambo, coupled with the exceptional quality of the previously collected rock chip samples have significantly boosted our confidence in the project’s potential. The continuity of the gold results, as well as confirmation of a direct correlation with bismuth, strongly supports our decision to prioritise drilling at Tambo at the earliest opportunity later this year. We are making excellent progress in securing the required permits and services to commence drilling operations and will provide further updates as they become available.”

ECR Minerals #ECR – Victoria Projects Update – Significant increase in gold grades from Bulk Sampling at Creswick
ECR Minerals plc (LON: ECR), the exploration and development company focused on gold in Australia, is pleased to provide an update on the bulk sample results for the first four reverse circulation drill holes as well as the final two holes drilled at the Kuboid Hill prospect in Creswick earlier this year. The Company is also pleased to provide results from stream sampling that was carried out last month at its Bailieston Project.
HIGHLIGHTS
Creswick
- Reportable bulk sampling results of 05g/t Au and 2.53 g/t Au over 1 metre upgraded from 0.76 and 0.37 g/t Au respectively.
- Techniques employed give potential scope for a marked improvement in grades for the remaining “best hole” bulk samples from pan concentrate.
Bailieston
- Best results of 798 ppb Au and 712 ppb Au from stream sampling.
- Sampling was carried out at three areas with no known historical workings and have shown encouraging surface expression of anomalous gold which gives merit to further follow up
- Now re-analysing a number of drill cores from HR3 at Bailieston for the presence of Antimony, which correlates with this latest reconnaissance work showing a presence of Antimony.
- ECR is funded for its planned activities in Victoria and Queensland in 2024.
Details of the Programmes
Creswick
As announced on 8 April 2024, a total of 1,032 metres of reverse circulation (“RC”) drilling was completed at Kuboid Hill on 16 February 2024. This was the second part of an extended reverse circulation drilling programme at Creswick, following on from 522 metres completed at Davey Road where, as previously announced on 12 February 2024, ECR reported a best overall grade gold of 41.03g/t Au. The Kuboid Hill programme was designed to follow up on the Company’s anomalous gold soil sampling campaign that was completed in 2022.
ECR has received final results from bulk sampling for the first four of the 17 RC drill holes at Kuboid Hill (being KHRC012, KHRC008, KHRC009 and KHRC015). Only KHRC012 generated any reportable results from the bulk sampling, significant improvement was seen in three of the samples from that hole, as set out below:
Details of bulk sampling and significant intercepts > 0.5g/t
HOLE | From (m) | To (m) | Interval (m) | Original Au g/t | Bulk Au g/t |
KHRC012 | 27 | 28 | 1 | 0.76 | 3.05 |
KHRC012 | 28 | 29 | 1 | 0.26 | 0.81 |
KHRC012 | 40 | 41 | 1 | 0.37 | 2.53 |
The bulk samples from the remaining drillholes are currently in the laboratory. Based on the improved results for hole KHRC012, the ECR Board considers that there is a reasonable expectation of an improvement in grades for some of the remaining bulk samples from other mineralised zones.
Additional Kuboid Hill Drill Holes
The remaining samples for the final two drill holes at Kuboid Hill (see announcement 8 April 2024) have revealedfurther mineralised zones, consistent with what has been seen previously, although neither reported intercepts above 1 g/t.
Bailieston
At the Company’s Bailieston Project, a stream sampling campaign was recently completed throughout the northern part of the tenements (EL006911, EL006912 and EL007296) with the campaign being designed to test for initial evidence of gold mineralisation within the unexplored part of the region.
All three areas have had no historical work and, based on the results obtained, the Company believes there is merit in undertaking additional near-term follow up exploration.
- Black Cat South
Best results of 798 ppb Au and 712 ppb Au from two streams on the western flank of the Black Cat Fault. The two streams drain a prominent ridgeline that is approximately 400m long in strike and offers further prospectivity. The regional Black Cat Fault is associated with other gold and antimony historical mining activity along strike.
- King’s Cross
Result of 150 ppb Au from a stream that drains an old prospect known as King’s Cross. Highly oxidised quartz veins are present in this area and require follow up testing.
- Freisland Hills
An anomaly of 100ppb Au was obtained from an unnamed creek in the centre of the area.
In all three prospects, LIDAR mapping shows there has been no previous mining activity or prospecting in the area which provides for an opportunity for development and deeper exploration.
In addition to stream sampling, two small soil orientation surveys were completed on the north fringes of the HR3 goldfield area and the Cherry Tree South goldfield. Both soil surveys show coincidental elevated arsenic and antimony. Previous soil sampling at HR3 has identified arsenic and antimony as pathfinders to gold mineralisation.
ECR is now also re-analysing the core from its earlier drilling at the HR3 prospect at Bailieston for antimony. The Costerfield-Bailieston-Nagambie district is noted for economic veins of antimony and elevated antimony has been observed from previous pXRF analysis of the drill core.
Mike Whitlow Chief Operating Officer said: “Today’s news points to further potential value at our Creswick gold assets and we’re looking forward to the results from the remaining bulk samples from our “best holes” following onfrom our ‘off the rig’ sample results, which include observations of visible gold.”
Adam Jones Chief Geologist said: “Results from the Bailieston stream sampling survey are also encouraging and we firmly believe ground exploration above these streams is now merited. The Bailieston field is prospective for not only gold, but also for antimony, and we’re fortunate to be located between the two proven fields of Costerfield and Nagambie. Today’s results give further validation to our rationale to re-analyse our historical core from HR3 and Cherry Tree.”

- Fosterville South Exploration Ltd (TSX-V: FSX) (“Fosterville South”) – Following the sale of the Avoca, Moormbool and Timor gold projects in Victoria, Australia to Fosterville South Exploration Ltd (TSX-V: FSX) and the subsequent spin-out of the Avoca and Timor projects to Leviathan Gold Ltd (TSX-V: LVX), ECR has the right to receive up to A$2m in payments subject to future resource estimation or production from the projects sold to Fosterville South (see announcement dated 20 April 2020).
- SLM gold project, La Rioja Province, Argentina – ECR holds a royalty and can potentially receive up to US$2.7 million in aggregate across all licences.
Property
- ECR owns a property at 35 Brewing Lane, Springmount, Australia. The property consists of 16 acres and is located within the Company’s existing 100% owned Creswick license area. The Board are considering a sale of the property, which is currently being used as a base for Creswick operations.
Plant
- ECR owns several items of valuable mechanical equipment. All options including future deployment, plant rental or disposal are being considered by the Company.
ECR Managing Director Nick Tulloch commented: “It is very evident that ECR owns a valuable
and diverse portfolio of assets which we believe in time have the potential to offer considerable upside. This factor was certainly a catalyst in driving the recently announced board changes and the share subscription that is of course subject to approval at our forthcoming General Meeting. We hope to have a comprehensive technical view of both our historical projects as well as the conclusion of our latest work programme on Queensland in the coming weeks.”
ECR Chief Operations Officer Mike Whitlow added: “The Board are engaged in an intensive review of all of ECR’s assets and operations. Our primary objective is to ensure the Company is on a secure financial footing for all future activities, and we will be making a series of decisions that will be announced to our shareholders in the coming weeks. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our shareholders for their patience and steadfastness in these matters, and I look forward to reporting back to you on these next steps as they occur.”

ECR Minerals #ECR – Half-yearly financial results for the six months ended 31 March 2022
LONDON: 30 JUNE 2022 – ECR Minerals plc, the gold exploration and development company, is pleased to announce unaudited half-yearly financial results for the six months ended 31 March 2022 for the Company as consolidated with its subsidiaries (the “Group”), along with a review of significant developments during the period and subsequently.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The gold exploration boom in Victoria, Australia has continued, with material progress made at the Company’s flagship Creswick and Bailieston assets. ECR’s acquisition of the Brewing Lane and Nagambie-Rushworth Road properties has enhanced access and exploration opportunities at both projects.
- In December 2022, the Company was notified it had been granted licence EL006907 linking Creswick to Ballarat East-Nerrina. The board views this as a key step in building our understanding of the Dimocks Main Shale anomaly and developing ECR’s Creswick project. Also granted was licence EL007484 in East Victoria, situated 50km north of Bairnsdale in the east of the state of Victoria encompassing the alluvial fields of Swifts Creek and the Mid to Upper reaches of the Tambo River.
- Despite severe delays in receiving assay results during the period due to the impact of COVID-19, the results we did receive from our ongoing drilling campaigns at Bailieston and HR3 delivered substantial progress in both gold grades and our understanding of the regional geology.
- Drilling and subsequent 3D modelling of HR3 drillholes BH3DD005, BH3DD006 and BH3DD007 earlier in the year revealed a moderate south plunging fold underneath and along strike of the Maori Reef workings. In November 2022 we reported initial results from BH3DD009, the first hole completed, which returned 0.7m @ 28.06g/t Au from 52.7m depth from the Maori Reef. Holes BH3DD010 and BH3DD011 reported consistent gold grades in December 2022, while soil sampling results revealed a larger area of anomalies, supporting a dilational jog model theory developed by our head geologist Adam Jones. In March 2022 further data identified five mineralised zones, all correlated to the Maori Anticline (within the Maori Reef), plus consistent gold grades were identified in hole BH3DD012 and visible gold in hole BH3DD034 (see announcement dated 14 March 2022 for full details).
- In February 2022, exploration licences EPM27901, EPM27902 and EPM27903 were granted to 100% owned subsidiary LUX Exploration Limited (“LUX”), in the Lolworth Region, North Queensland. The licences are located approximately 120km west of the historic Charters Towers Gold Mine in North Queensland and cover 964 km2. Historic stream sediment sampling indicates that the Lolworth Range area is prospective for gold, tungsten and tin.
- During the period under review, Dr Trevor George Davenport was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Most recently Dr Davenport consulted for Kryso Resources Plc at the time of the takeover of control of the company by China Nonferrous International Mining Co. Ltd in 2011. In January 2022, Andrew Scott, a communications specialist and media professional was also appointed as a Non-Executive Director. The sad loss of former CEO Craig Brown presented a substantial challenge to the management team. Nonetheless, a committee was formed with Chairman David Tang, and Non-Exec Directors Dr Davenport and Adam Jones, to manage the company up to the appointment of a new CEO.
- Post-period end, on 11 April 2022 Andrew Haythorpe was appointed as CEO (currently a non-board position). Andrew has more than 20 years of experience managing listed gold miners and explorers on the ASX and TSX as well as working as a mining analyst and actively exploring for gold as a geologist.
- Post-period end, Ludevico Estacio, the Chairman of Philippines company Cordillera Tiger Gold Resources, Inc., (in which ECR had a 25% shareholding), agreed to sell his shares (1,499,996 in total) to ECR. The consideration of 1,499,996.00 Philippine pesos (approximately £22,000) was paid for in cash, and ECR now holds 2,333,329 Ordinary Shares in Cordillera representing 70% of its issued share capital (see announcement dated 27 April 2022 for full details).
- Group comprehensive expenses of £324,333 are reported for the six months ended 31 March 2022 (£468,112 for the six months ended 31 March 2021) and net assets of £7,536,209 at 31 March 2022 (£6,442,465 at 31 March 2021).
- A Group Operating Loss is reported for the six months ended 31 March 2022 of £552,202, compared with £403,079 for the six months ended 31 March 2021.
- Despite the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy, the board believes ECR is in a robust financial position and continues to provide shareholders with exposure to an exciting range of gold projects.
FINANCIAL RESULTS
For the six months ended 31 March 2022 the unaudited financial statements of the Group recorded a total comprehensive expense of £324,333.
The Group’s total assets were £7,674,007 at 31 March 2022, compared with £6,522,307 at 31 March 2021. The increase in total assets has occurred largely due to the increase in exploration assets following the capitalisation of exploration expenditure during the period as a result of the current aggressive drilling programme.
The Group held £1,204,289 of cash and cash equivalents at 31 March 2022, compared with £3,928,905 at 31 March 2021.
REVIEW OF PRINCIPAL DEVELOPMENTS DURING THE PERIOD AND SUBSEQUENTLY
The six months to 31 March 2022 and the subsequent period since have been notable as a period of great progress, sadness and change. Former CEO Craig Brown died suddenly at the end of October 2021, and while a committee including Chairman David Tang, and non-exec directors Trevor Davenport and Adam Jones continued to run the Company without interruption, the shock of his sudden loss remains with us to this day. Nonetheless he would be pleased and proud with the operational progress to date, and we believe he would be delighted with the calibre of his recently appointed successor Andrew Haythorpe.
During the period under review, Dr Trevor Davenport was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Andrew is well known in the UK and across Australia as a business and markets interviewer. He has worked at Sky News UK, Reuters and Proactive as well as in presenting and media roles at ITV and Television NZ (TVNZ).
Post-period end, on 11 April 2022 Andrew Haythorpe was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (currently a non-board position). Andrew has more than 20 years of experience managing listed gold miners and explorers on the ASX and TSX as well as working as a mining analyst and actively exploring for gold as a geologist. His board experience includes the role of Managing Director at TSX and ASX-listed Crescent Gold Limited, which started with a market capitalisation of $8 million and, under his leadership, reached $250 million within four years. He was also Managing Director of ASX-listed gold producer Michelago Resources and is currently the Managing Director of GoldOz Limited, a gold company seeking to relist on the ASX. As an analyst, Andrew was considered a global leader in the Industrial Minerals sector and rated 12th best gold analyst at Hartley Poynton Ltd.
Currently, through ECR’s wholly owned Australian subsidiary Mercator Gold Australia Pty Ltd (“MGA”), the board remains focused on the fast-paced drilling programme at Bailieston and Creswick. During the period, large quantities of drill core have been amassed for technical review, processing and assay testing. Although, the impact of intermittent COVID lockdowns on the region has resulted in delays to assay results, our geologist Adam Jones and his team continue to make solid progress. In particular, the ongoing drilling campaign at Bailieston and HR3 delivered substantial progress in both gold grades and our understanding of the regional geology.
Post-period end, Ludevico Estacio, the Chairman of Philippines company Cordillera Tiger Gold Resources, Inc., (in which ECR had a 25% shareholding), agreed to sell his shares (1,499,996 in total) to ECR. The consideration of 1,499,996.00 Philippine pesos (approximately £22,000) was paid for in cash, and ECR now holds 2,333,329 Ordinary Shares in Cordillera representing 70% of its issued share capital (see announcement dated 27 April 2022 for full details of this transaction).
Creswick
At Creswick, in December MGA was notified that license EL006907 linking Creswick to Ballarat East-Nerrina had been granted. The board views this as a key step in building our understanding of the Dimocks Main Shale anomaly and developing ECR’s Creswick asset. The Company has also applied to renew Creswick licence EL006184 for another five years and is awaiting final approval. As the current incumbent, we have first rights over the licence, and our geologist Adam Jones plans to develop the project with soil sampling programmes in the vicinity of the quartz mineralisation identified in the 2021 diamond drilling campaign and to test for sub-cropping gold shoots. The Brewing Lane property at Springmount contains numerous abandoned historical gold workings with some underground exposures that offer opportunities for mapping and sampling, followed up by drilling. The team will also commence evaluation of prospects in the recently approved EL006907 area using exploration techniques that proved successful on EL006184.
Bailieston
Notwithstanding the delays in receiving assay results, MGA is continuing to progress with drilling at the Bailieston tenements (EL5433), focussing on the Maori Reef and parallel reef systems within the HR3 goldfield. The geology team is also making progress with near-term plans to re-enter and continue exploration on the Blue Moon prospect located on the southern extent of EL5433. Drilling and subsequent 3D modelling of HR3 drillholes BH3DD005, BH3DD006 and BH3DD007 earlier in the year revealed a moderate south plunging fold underneath and along strike of the Maori Reef workings (see announcement dated 1 July 2022). In November 2022 we reported initial results from the first hole completed, (BH3DD009), which returned 0.7m @ 28.06g/t Au from 52.7m depth from the Maori Reef. Holes BH3DD010 and BH3DD011 reported consistent gold grades in December, while soil sampling results revealed a larger area of anomalies, supporting a dilational jog model theory developed by Adam Jones. In March 2022 further data received identified five mineralised zones, all correlated to the Maori Anticline (within the Maori Reef), plus consistent gold grades in hole BH3DD012 and visible gold in hole BH3DD034.
Post-period end, we reported the highest grade gold intercept yet at hole BH3DD027, HR3 with 0.2m @ 52.5 g/t Au from 126.3m depth. This was followed by HR3 drill hole BH3DD022, which returned a result of 0.5m @ 12.74 g/t Au (see announcements dated 22 April 2022 and 4 May 2022).
Lolworth District of North Queensland, Australia.
In February 2022, exploration licences EPM27901, EPM27902 and EPM27903 were granted to ECR’s 100% owned subsidiary LUX Exploration Limited, in the Lolworth Region, North Queensland. The area contains metamorphic rocks of the Charters Towers Province, that host large historical gold producing centres such as Charters Tower (6.6M Oz Au) and Ravenswood (>1M Oz Au). The structural and basement geology is poorly understood in the area, suggesting numerous opportunities to find new deposits. The area also contains reported rhyolitic volcanism, which plays host to intrusion-related breccia gold deposits in the region such as Mount Leyshon (>2.5M oz) and Mount Wright (>1M oz). Historic samples also highlighted tin-tungsten mineralisation in the western areas of EPM27902. Reports show no detailed follow-up work has been undertaken.
Exploration licence EL007484 in East Victoria was also granted in February 2022. This licence area is situated 50km north of Bairnsdale in the east of the state of Victoria encompassing the alluvial fields of Swifts Creek and the Mid to Upper reaches of the Tambo River.
The Directors believe exploration licence EPM27901, 27902 and 27903 offer significant potential for precious and base metal discoveries in an area of Australia where multiple large-scale discoveries have already been made.
Outlook
After a challenging transition period, the directors of ECR Minerals plc are excited about the Company’s near-term and future prospects under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Andrew Haythorpe. As eagerly anticipated assay results begin to arrive, our board, geologists, drilling team and wider staff at the Bendigo headquarters are enthused by the possibility of developing a resource at both the Bailieston and Creswick projects. We are equally encouraged about the prospectivity demonstrated by our new licences at Lolworth Range, North Queensland and our East Victoria exploration licence at Tambo.
These factors, together with the potential to realise shareholder value from our Danglay asset in the Philippines, could result in an exciting year ahead as ECR’s operations and opportunities evolve.
